Privacy Policy

Swaypi is a creator-data API operated by Willhite Strategy Group. This policy explains what we collect from you when you use Swaypi, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.

The short version

• To run your account we store one thing about you: your email address.
• We keep standard API usage logs to operate, secure, and meter the service.
• Payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
• We do not sell your data, and we never ask for your social-platform logins.

Information we collect

Account email. When you sign up, join the waitlist, or contact us, we collect the email address you provide. It is how we create your account, send your API key and receipts, and reach you about the service.

API usage and logs. When your key calls the API, our servers record standard request metadata — the endpoint requested, timestamps, response status, approximate volume, and the network address the request came from. This is ordinary operational logging: it lets us authenticate keys, enforce rate limits, debug problems, and detect abuse.

That is the extent of the personal information we collect from you. Swaypi does not ask for your social-platform passwords, and your API key is the only account credential we store.

How we use it

• Provide the service — create and authenticate your account and API key, return the data you request, and apply your plan's rate limits and quota.
• Secure the service — detect abuse, prevent fraud, and protect the API and other customers.
• Billing — manage your subscription and send receipts through our payment processor (see below).
• Support and service messages — reply to your questions and send essential notices about your account.

Payments

Subscription billing and payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. When you pay, your card and payment details are collected and handled directly by Stripe under Stripe's Privacy Policy. Swaypi does not store your card number. We receive only what we need to manage your subscription — for example, your billing email and whether a payment succeeded.

Service providers (sub-processors)

We use a small number of trusted providers to deliver the service — hosting, content delivery, transactional email, and payments. We publish the current list, and what each one is used for, on our sub-processors page.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, strictly to run Swaypi, and where we are legally required to (for example, a valid legal request).

Cookies and analytics

The Swaypi API itself does not use cookies. On this marketing website we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate traffic — it does not track you across other sites. Our web servers also keep standard access logs.

Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain limited records to meet legal, tax, accounting, or security obligations. Operational logs are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.

Your rights and data requests

You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Email hello@swaypi.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

About creator data

Separate from your account, the Swaypi API returns information about creators drawn from publicly available sources. If you are a creator and have a question or want your information reviewed or removed, email hello@swaypi.com — we honor data-access and deletion requests.

Children

Swaypi is a developer tool intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we make a material change we will revise the effective date at the top of this page, and, where appropriate, notify you.
